Obtaining Media Credentials
2009 Amgen Tour of California Media Credential Application RequestTHIS IS ONLY A REQUEST. IT DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCESS TO THIS EVENT.
Please note that only working media with confirmed assignments will be credentialed. Confirmations will be issued via e-mail.
Media credential applications will be reviewed and confirmations will be issued via e-mail at the beginning of February. Media credentials will be distributed at the start and finish lines of each stage and CANNOT BE MAILED. Credentials can be picked up at the start line in the media tent near the announcer’s booth or at the finish line in the press room. Press room locations will be posted on the Amgen Tour of California Web site in February.
Freelancers must submit an assignment letter issued by the news organization they are representing to ghlacredentials@golinharris.com. Only freelancers with valid letters of assignment will be considered for media credentials.
All electronic footage is to be used exclusively as news coverage. Electronic footage gathered to be used commercially must be sub-licensed through the race’s organizers, AEG. Any electronic footage used in a commercial way, without prior approval, will be subject to penalties, enforced through legal or arbitration means.

Placement on photo motos is at the discretion of race organizers. Please fill out the additional “photo moto application” to be considered for placement on a moto. Photographers selected to use the race photo motos will be charged a nominal fee.
